Environmental programme of Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The organizers of the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov from the \u00daAMK Automotoklub Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov and \u010cK motorsport have been working from the beginning of the preparation with the knowledge that it is necessary to ensure this event in such a way that it causes minimal damage to society and the environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the organizing team has placed the concern for the environment and optimization of general safety at the top of the priorities of the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers emphasise an all-round ecological approach, with the need to awaken awareness of ecological aspects in both the participants and especially in the rally fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, motorsport does not seem to be environmentally friendly. But this may not always be the case. Both the international automobile federation, the FIA, and car manufacturers are devoting considerable resources to the development and design of environmentally friendly cars, new fuels and technologies that reduce carbon dioxide emissions from mass-produced cars, as well as reducing fuel consumption. Motorsport is also looking at replacing fossil fuels with alternative energy sources such as biogas, electricity and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers of the \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov Rally are also committed to promoting environmentally friendly motorsports. At the Czech New Energies Rallye in \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov, visitors will have the opportunity to see new cars that are powered entirely by electricity. Motorsport is making advances in technology in particular. We believe that rally sport can also be enriched by “greener” traffic in other ways. It is possible to influence the attitudes of consumer-fans so that if environmentally friendly technologies are used in the production of rally cars, these can then quickly become commonplace in everyday traffic for ordinary consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers of the \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov Rally are committed to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • educate the organisation’s members, teams, suppliers and volunteers involved in organising the rally on environmental issues. Information aimed at raising environmental awareness is disseminated through the media, digital platforms and informational materials for spectators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • to focus on minimizing the amount of waste from the event and to take care of recycling, both from the stages and from the service areas;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • favour environmentally friendly and reusable materials in the construction and design of the security of the stages;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • minimise the use of private cars by encouraging carpooling and car sharing. In cities, utilise public transport to transport fans and participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the use of environmentally friendly fuels and cars;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • demanding environmentally friendly solutions from service providers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • limiting the number of photocopies at the organisation and press centres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The use of power generators is prohibited in the service park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All competitors must lay a plastic mat of the correct size on the ground where service work is being carried out, ensuring that the entire area is covered. The mat must be impermeable to all liquids. The mats must be cleaned in such a way that no material comes into contact with the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All waste must be disposed of in the designated service park facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At the stages, the organisers will encourage spectators to be environmentally friendly. Collection of litter from spectators as well as teams, competitors (oil, fuel, water). Garbage bags are provided for spectators to encourage responsible waste management. After the event, clean-up operations are carried out along the special stages and in the spectator areas. Special attention will also be paid to waste sorting for recycling of used materials during the construction of stages and other sites of the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
