A project that we, as the organizers of one of the oldest rallies in the Czech Republic, have been thinking about for a long time. It was only in 2021, fifty years after the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov was founded, that we decided to find out whether this sport and social discipline, which enjoys great popularity abroad, would be of interest to competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we are returning to this idea and we will organize the second year of the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov Revival<\/strong> on 14 and 15 March 2025 <\/strong>in parallel with the world ecoRally – the 13th \u010cEZ Czech New Energies Rallye<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition is included in the Czech Trophy in the rally regularity of historic cars, held under the banner of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic, and is intended for vehicles manufactured up to and including the year 2000, which do not have to be racing specials or tested veterans. A production vehicle with a registration plate and a valid registration certificate is sufficient for participation. Vehicles equipped with a roll cage must have a sports test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally is open to a crew of two, where the driver has a driving licence and the minimum age of the navigator is 16 years. Both of them must hold a driver’s license issued by the respective ASN. Also accepted are daily licenses, which can be obtained only during the administrative checks before the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revival will take the crews to the current and former stages where the more than 50-year history of the Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov was written. The itinerary of the almost 550 kilometres long route includes 20 regularity tests on various sections, with nearly 70 percent of the total mileage timekeeped!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As is usual for a regularity rally, the stages are held in normal road traffic on less frequented roads. The speed average prescribed for each measured section respects the traffic regulations and is monitored by a professional GPS system from a Spanish supplier, tested over several years of experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
