The awakening from this year’s winter sleep has already been managed not only by nature, but also by all rally fans for whom the season is just beginning. Spring is in full swing, and this is an unmistakable sign of the fact that the traditional Czech-Krumlov automobile competition is approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful South Bohemian town annually becomes a destination for top sports technology in the second half of May, this year it will be on the weekend of 23 and 24 May 2025<\/strong>. At the moment, the so-called special provisions for the competition have already been published and the acceptance of entries is open, but there are still a few weeks to go before the closing date. The 52nd Rallye \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov<\/strong> will have an international status again this year – in addition to the national championship for both contemporary and historic cars, the event will again be part of the prestigious FIA European Rally Trophy and the cross-border Regional Rally Cup. The Rallye Legends Show is also planned again, with members of the Slowly Sideways club bringing their beautiful machinery to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition takes place a few days later than in the past, but its traditional form remains unchanged. The program remains demanding courses and both centres of the competition, i.e. the \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice Exhibition Centre and the Deer Garden in \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov. “We have tried to make the composition of the special stages even more challenging than usual,”<\/em> says Pavel Kacerovsk\u00fd<\/strong>, the main organiser, hinting at the details. “In addition, on Friday, between the first and second passes of the Ro\u017emit\u00e1l and Kohout-J\u00e1n stages, the service zone will not be entered, which will shorten the crossing kilometres and put more strain on the technique. And, as the above suggests, we will also be linking the (already quite demanding) Kohout and J\u00e1n stages into one 25-kilometre test for the first time since 2016, the second passage of which will also be run in the dark.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Svat\u00fd Jan nad Mal\u0161\u00ed appeared in the media a few days ago, and it was not just a coincidence. In the autumn, there will also be a speed test in its vicinity, and not just any speed test. The \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov region will also be visited by the participants of the Central European Rally, and thus by pilots fighting for the title of world champion! This was probably the last piece of the mosaic that has been missing in the south of Bohemia so far, but we will see it in October. At the moment we can look forward to the 52nd Rally \u010cesk\u00fd Krumlov<\/strong>, because it is already obvious that in May there will be beautiful sport on both sides of the Vltava River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
