53rd Rallye Český Krumlov is just around the corner

Spring is here, and with it comes a new season of rally racing. The 53rd Rallye Český Krumlov will take place in its traditional format from Friday to Saturday, May 22–23, 2026.

This year’s event will feature a mix of tried-and-true stages and exciting new additions. The organizers from the ÚAMK Automotoklub Rallye Český Krumlov and the ČK motorsport team have prepared a total of 13 special stages across six sections, which will test not only the crews’ speed but also their technical skills and concentration.

“We designed the course with a focus on difficulty and variety. After thirteen years, the section between Přídolí and Spolí is returning to the itinerary, and we will once again combine it with the original version of the Rožmitál special stage. This will create an exceptionally challenging section that will be one of the highlights of the entire competition. We’ve reversed the direction of the other three timed sections; the legendary Malonty stage is just under 28 kilometers long and will most likely be the longest special stage of the entire season,” explains chief organizer Pavel Kacerovský.

A new addition will be the semi-circular track in Soběnov, which will add variety to the Kohout special stage. Fans can also look forward to the return of one of the most spectator-friendly moments — after a one-year hiatus, the evening run through the spectator Super special stage at the České Budějovice exhibition grounds will take place again, midway through Friday’s stage.

Shortly before the start of the Rally Šumava, the organizers finally received approval of the special regulations from the FIA, which allowed them to fully open the registration process. Crews can register until May 11, which is the deadline for entries.

The main venues for the competition remain the České Budějovice Exhibition Grounds and the Deer Garden in Český Krumlov. It is here that the awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening, against the unique backdrop of Krumlov Castle.

The 53rd Rallye Český Krumlov is part of the FIA European Rally Trophy international series as well as the domestic championship for modern and historic vehicles. The icing on the cake will be the traditional Rally Legends Show, which will feature not only Czech crews but also a large group of members from the German club Slowly Sideways.
