The 53rd Rallye Český Krumlov 2026, which is part of the FIA European Rally Trophy, the Autoklub Czech Rally Championship, the Autoklub Rally Challenge, and the Autoklub Czech Historic Sporting Rally Championship, continued today with its second day of competition. A total of seven special stages, covering a total distance of 92 kilometers, awaited the competitors. The schedule for Saturday’s stage also included the legendary Malonty, this year in a version nearly 28 kilometers long. It will most likely be the longest special stage of this year’s entire championship. The weather around Český Krumlov and Kaplice was almost summer-like, with no rain.
The first timed stage was Kohout. Adam Březík crossed the finish line first and cut the gap to the leader, Stříteský, by 0.5 seconds. The third-fastest time belonged to Jan Kopecký, followed by Austrian Simon Wagner. The special stage was suspended following a crash involving car number 78 and subsequently canceled. The passage of historic cars and legends on the Kohout special stage was also canceled due to the crashed race car blocking the track.

The Malonty special stage often decided the outcome of the South Bohemian competition. On the first run, Dominik Stříteský, who was leading at the time, was the fastest driver and increased his lead at the top of the standings. Adam Březík, in second place, lost 3.6 seconds on the longest stage of the competition, while Filip Mareš finished third, just 0.7 seconds behind Březík. After a flat tire and a subsequent wheel change right on the special stage, Jan Kopecký, driving a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, dropped out of third place and fell all the way to eleventh in the overall standings, four minutes behind. Václav Pech also changed a wheel on his Citroën C3 Rally2 at the same spot. Filip Mareš moved up to third place in the overall standings. Jiří Pertlíček Jr., driving a Škoda Fabia R5, suffered a double puncture.
The Malšín special stage was suspended and subsequently canceled for modern cars following an accident involving car number 18. A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the scene for the injured co-driver. Filip Mareš set the fastest time at Malšín, followed by Adam Březík and Jan Kopecký. In the overall standings, Ján Kundlák moved up to fifth place.
After three traditional special stages, the competing crews moved to České Budějovice, where the final Super Special Stage awaited them at the exhibition grounds. Filip Mareš in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 was the fastest over the nearly three-kilometer course. Adam Březík was classified second on this spectator stage, and Ján Kundlák third. This timed stage brought Patrik Rujbr’s race to a halt when his Citroën C3 Rally2 suffered a technical failure.

After another run through Kohout, there were no changes in the provisional standings of the 53rd Rallye Český Krumlov 2026. Dominik Stříteský was the fastest, followed by Adam Březík in second place, with Jan Kopecký finishing third.
Dominik Stříteský and Ondřej Krajča were once again the first to cross the finish line on the second run through the legendary Malonty stage. Compared to the first run, this crew managed to shave a full six seconds off their time. Adam Březík posted the second-fastest time, and his gap to the leader grew to 6.6 seconds. Jan Kopecký and Jiří Hovorka recorded the third-fastest time. Nothing changed at the top of the overall standings. Punctures affected the crews of John Macht and Michael Teufel, as well as Martin Huber and Sebastian Ober. Marcel Tuček and Petr Dufek stopped during the special stage. At this point, only the final special stage remained before the finish: the seven-kilometer-long Malšín.
The final special stage did not change the overall standings. Although Dominik Stříteský and Ondra Krajča posted “only” the fourth-fastest time at Malšín, they emerged as the overall winners of the 53rd Rallye Český Krumlov 2026. Adam Březík and Zdeněk Bělák were ranked second overall. The crews in the top two spots competed in Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 cars. Filip Mareš and Radovan Bucha took third place, driving a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Patrik Kdér and Petr Jindra dominated the single-axle drive class in a Peugeot 208 Rally4.
